The jamming is a little lacking on this whow. Although I know they went for a more composed setlist with great transitions. The flow of songs is interesting but the jams are not so great for bisco chronic reality as we know it. Not much raging evil techno improv, but maybe not every show can be that. Sound quality is fine.

This show is my holy grail.
Finally decided to write a review on this show. The first Disco Biscuits that I ever heard came from this show...the crickets>shem-rah-boo was on a sampler CD that I stumbled upon at Bonnaroo '02. And to this day, that segue is truely the best I've ever heard them do. I finally dl'd the rest of the show, and I'm thoroughly impressed. The best House Dawg I've ever heard by far (if there is a better one, someone please let me know, and if you haven't heard this one, you owe it to yourself to check it out). Great show, through and through.
Sound-7 out of 10
(no offense whatsoever to the taper, I commend you for the ability to get these shows up. Good levels, balance, and image)
Performance-11 out of 10
Great setlist, and the second set contains some of the sickest segues I've ever heard by ANY band, period.

So this is the first time I've actually sat down and listened to this show. I've seen it in circulation for a couple of years now but didnt check it out untill today and it is fucking on. The maui project track Ulua really sets the tone for the first half of the show, then from there it just weaves in and out between mellow dance grooves and hard hitting trance jams, with some classic bisco songs thrown all over. Not to mention a funky ass shem-rah-boo. I'm really glad I stumbled upon this show.

This is a classical song, i think composed by Brownstein which is a true gem that they seemed to have only played a few times for some unfortunate reason. I would love to hear this song again on 4/20 this year!

This is one of my personal favorite shows. First off, it is a very clean recording, levels are nicely balanced.
The show itself is incredible. The opening Ulua -> Thieving Magpie is one of my favorite openings I've heard the Biscuits do. But the meat of the show and one of the best segues I've heard is the Crickets -> Shem-Rah Boo -> Nughuffer -> Sister Judy's. This jam is crazy!
The Dribble is good too, and the encore is solid.
Basically what I'm saying is you need to download this show.
